Legoland

All Logan wanted for his 6th birthday was a trip to the newly opened Florida Legoland.  Of course, our very first stop and picture had to be with the Lego Darth Vader...

Perhaps our favorite roller coaster of the day...THE DRAGON.

A deceptively fun ride in which we drove around in circles and were sprayed with fountains of water.  Mom wanted to lose her lunch just watching us go around in circles, so Raegan, Brielle, Logan, and I were the participants here.

 Jaws, Lego style.

 Kennedy Space Center, Lego style.

Daytona International Speedway, Lego Style.  This, Kennedy Space Center, Las Vegas, San Francisco, DC, and many other famous cities/vacation destionations were modeled in this section of the park.  20 Million individual Lego pieces...

Outside a pirate Ski show.  Fun day all around.  Probably not great for older children, but just right for our age group...

Logan's birthday

Logan had quite a 6th birthday a few weeks ago.  These pictures are of him at school partying with his class.  Mom, Dad, Brielle, and Jackston had lunch with him, then witnessed the singing of happy birthday.

He and mom made juice-box robot men for his classmates.  It was a good thing because a class of Kindergartners REALLY needed a bit more sugar in their diet to give them some extra energy...

 With his teacher, Mrs. Mazzola.

That evening at his birthday party - our very own Jedi Padowan training camp!  The menu consisted of Yoda Soda, Wookie Cookies, Darth Doritos, Princess Lays, Padowan Pizza, Thermal Detonators (Whoppers), and pretzel sticks made to look like light sabers.  Oh, and fruit for the boring, Empire-loving adults in attendance.

All attendees showing off the light sabers they constructed as part of their training.  Many welts were administered as the night progressed...

Pure chaos for most of the evening...

With his Vader birthday cake - Amy's special Jedi skills mostly revolve around kitchen mastery.

In his spanking machine line at the end of the evening.  6 times through required much patience and mastery of the force (yeah, he's a nerd just like his Dad).

Mom even found us some Star Wars T-shirts since all the partygoers were dressed as Jedis.

Logan, pleased to have dispatched of Raegan Sidious.

Easter

 On our way to church.
Logan and Jackston's first matching shirts~Don't they have the cutest smiles!!!!
Brielle and Kaley at Sea world.  Our year passes just expired and we are happily looking forward to a relaxing summer without park hopping.  We do feel very blessed though to be able to live close to theme parks and are excited to do Universal next fall.  The best part was Raegan was finally tall enough to ride all the big rides.  My kids are all roller coaster junkies and I love it (although my brain is still rolling around in my head after 2 rides)  Hopefully Jake and I can keep up with them!!!
