Jake's parents were in town so we traveled up to the Atlanta Aquarium which was VERY worth the drive. We saw some of the most interesting sea life we've ever seen. This is one of their huge Rays behind Raegan.

As is commonplace these days, Brielle insisted on being carried "like a princess". This is in front of their cool penguin tank, where one can crawl underneath it and poke their head up and look at penguins inches away through a clear plastic cylinder.

These were my favorites - the Japanese Spider Crabs. They were HUGE, and also rather creepy...

A HUGE manta ray in their giant tank (which they advertised as the largest tank in the world).

This was the main event! They have 4 whale sharks, and even though they were all juvenille, I thought they were pretty big (18-24) feet long.

Electric eels...just gives you the willies thinking about it...

Piranhas - fierce little buck teeth...

We love that aquarium! We've been a few times, and it has been worth it every time!
We love the Georgia Aquarium! We are planning on taking Carson there for his birthday. It is hard going to another aquarium after that one.
