I LOVE all things Dr. Suess~ A few Halloween's ago we were Cat in the Hat and then a friend gave me a Thing 4 outfit for Jackston so I had to get the other two a Thing shirt and this is the result. Seriously the cutest "Things" I have ever seen!!!!

Fun weekend

We were very busy with Jake's parents here. We went to Blue Springs to see the manatees, Ponce Inlet and to Atlanta. We had a lot of fun and are resting from our vacation now ;)

Jackston's first time at the beach. He loved it. He also enjoyed mom's sunglasses to keep the wind out of his eyes. What a stinkin' cute kid!!!

This was a lighthouse we visited. The stairs were quite steep. It was a great view once you got to the top.....(going down was a different story)

Playing on the playground

We just love this little cutie! He is growing way too fast!!

Georgia Aquarium

Jake's parents were in town so we traveled up to the Atlanta Aquarium which was VERY worth the drive. We saw some of the most interesting sea life we've ever seen. This is one of their huge Rays behind Raegan.

As is commonplace these days, Brielle insisted on being carried "like a princess". This is in front of their cool penguin tank, where one can crawl underneath it and poke their head up and look at penguins inches away through a clear plastic cylinder.

These were my favorites - the Japanese Spider Crabs. They were HUGE, and also rather creepy...

A HUGE manta ray in their giant tank (which they advertised as the largest tank in the world).

This was the main event! They have 4 whale sharks, and even though they were all juvenille, I thought they were pretty big (18-24) feet long.

Electric eels...just gives you the willies thinking about it...

Piranhas - fierce little buck teeth...

Shooting guns and looking cute

Tonight we had a High Priest Group activity consisting of eating a Thanksgiving-style dinner and shooting guns at the church ranch 30 minutes east of Orlando - that militant regiment of the Mormon Militia in Florida needs to stay sharp, and well-fed!

Of late, she's mostly frustrated us with her highly refined 3-year old behavior. Then she goes and does something like this (without being coaxed) and we somehow love her more than ever...Brielle and her friend Kaley.

Logan's first attempt at shooting real guns. He shot both a 22 rifle and this 22 Ruger pistol. A whole lot of warning and prep went into this, and Dad never took his hands off while Logan was shooting. However, Logan assured us he REALLY liked it and wants to go again. Couldn't coax his sisters to take some shots (which is actually fine by me), but they found an old PVC pipe and were using it to "announce the news" from the event, so everyone was happy. Notice that the look on his face is different in all of these (but Brielle's is always the same)...

A few pictures of the kids

These are a few pictures of the kids before we left for Utah. I got photoshop but am not smart enough to figure it out so I am not editing them. Maybe one day and then I will repost ;)

Soccer and roller skating

Jackston enjoying a stroller ride

Raegan and Logan had their first soccer game this weekend. They both had a great time sweating in this Florida heat. Raegan was very aggressive and enjoyed playing offense more than defense. Logan just ran around chasing the ball with a huge smile on his face the whole time.

Logan and Sarah---Michelle and I have arranged their marrage already ;)

The elementary had a skating night and we took the kids. It was their first time ever skating and they had a difficult time. Raegan and Brielle finally caught on at the end. Logan was too preoccupied watching the video games that he gave up trying. All in all they did well and want roller skates now to practice on. Competitive Raegan wants some so she can catch up with her friends that had skated before.

Doesn't she look so cute!!!

rainbows, wreaths and camping out

Beautiful rainbow

Jake sent up the tent in the front room and the kids loved every minute of it. It even smelled of campfire still so we had the outdoor effect.

Two wreaths I made. One for myself and another for Brittney. Which do you like better?
