Jake's birthday

Jake turned the big 34! His parents were here to celebrate and we have had quite the busy week but I just wanted to post a few from his party. We went to the T-Rex restaruant at Downtown Disney. I just love that place. It is so much fun. There are dinosaurs all over that move and growl and then they have a meteor shower every 20 minutes that is fun. He was a good sport for going there since the kids loved it more than anything.

The last few weeks

We made our own marble run out of paper towel and tp rolls. The kids love it but it keeps falling down. Oh well, it was fun for about a week!

Our St. Patty's day dinner.....green pancackes and peas. Then out to McDonalds to have green shakes except they were out by the time we got there. We still ate ice cream just not green.

I made this cute little Minnie outfit. I saw something similar at Disney and made the whole thing for about $10~so proud of myself and so happy my friend Joy got a ruffle and hem foot for her sewing machine to make it easier to make.

I have been trying to be domestic again and with a very talented friend made these fun twirly skirts for the girls. They are cuter on than in the picture, but you get the idea.

Beach picnic

We went to the beach for a picnic dinner and these are a few shots.

I just had to put this one in. Speedos don't usually bother me but this little white one did....come on, at least wear a black one!!!

Fancy Nancy Girls Night

Tonight we had a very fun girls night. Jake and Logan set off camping so us girls dressed up as Fancy Nancy and went out on the town. A few others joined us for a 'fancy dinner' at Olive Garden. Raegan always likes to do this and we have done it a few times as a family just at our dinner table, but it was great going out dressed fancy. We loved every minute of it!!

Finally....Christmas

Yes, I am really slow. For some reason my blog has been on the fritz, but now it seems to work. Here are a few pictures of our enjoyable Christmas vacation~

Brielle's Jolly Holiday

One of our favorite parenting moments ever! Brielle wore her Mary Poppins dress to Disney (thank you again Great Grandma Aplanalp) to say hi to the real Mary Poppins. The real Mary Poppins was surprised to see Brielle looking so dapper (you see every princess dress under the sun at Disney, but we've never seen a Mary Poppins dress - everyone asked where we got it), and Brielle was thrilled to get some alone time with her idol. Brielle kept saying, "look I have this and YOU have this!" pointing to various aspects of their outfits. I was amazed at the number of random people who stopped to take pictures, or who leaned over the rail of the ride waiting line where Mary Poppins was stationed to catch a glimpse of what was happening. Really was an unforgettable parenting moment for us, much like when Raegan first met Cinderella (her idol at the time) at the same age.
