This was a little bit of a crazy week. Brielle had a really high fever of 103. We went to the pediatrician and he couldn't figure out what was wrong so he sent us to the emergency room. They had to do a septic workup which is taking blood, urine and doing a spinal tap. This is the second time this little one has had to do this. She also had a high fever when she was 12 days old and had the same thing done. She had mastitis that time. We had to stay in the hospital for 2-3 days with that one. This time they think it is a urinary tract infection, even though no culture grew on her urine. The doctors put her on antibiotics and sent us home. She is doing well and we are very thankful for the priesthood blessing she received and also for modern medicine.
