Are they the same?

Today Brielle wore one of Raegan's dresses that was my favorite for Raegan. I had Raegan's picture in it when she was the same age Brielle is now. I took pictures of Brielle today to see if there are any similarities. Let me know what you think. Can you tell who is who?

Brielle's bath

Brielle LOVES the tub. The minute she gets in she starts kicking and smiling. She balls up her fists and sticks her arms in the air and loves every minute of it.

Raegans talk

Tonight Raegan came in and said she had prepared a talk to give us. It was so funny that I had her give it again so we could get it on tape. Of course this one was totally different from the one she originally gave, but you get the idea. It scares me how much she pays attention to even when I don't think she is paying attention.

The other day in the pool her and Ryan were baptizing each other and then one day she was trying to give Logan a blessing. We tell her only boys can have the Priesthood, but that hasn't stopped her yet. She has a mind of her own!

Give me a kiss

Brielle does this thing with her lips now. She puckers up. It is so cute. She does it often when she is looking at an object like the dog and cat on her swing, winnie the pooh wall paper when she is getting changed, or the side of her carseat that has red and yellow writing. I caught a little bit on camera. It is cuter in real life.
(I think her eye is red because she was trying to poop.)

Beach day

Today we went to the beach. I left Brielle home with Jake and went with some friends. We had a great time. It started out overcast but after a while the sun came out and we had a great time. I wished we could have stayed all day. There were many jelly fish that washed up on the beach. They weren't stingy any more because I guess they were dead. I asked the lifeguard just to make sure. He said they were fine to play with. It was a good thing because Raegan had a ball getting them, washing them off and putting them in her bucket.

Raegan and Ryan

The Bumbo Chair

My mom bought us a bumbo chair (a chair that helps little ones sit up). I got it out to see what Brielle would do. She was a bobble head in it, but she liked it for a minute. Logan and Raegan liked it more. Logan thinks it is his new chair. He gets stuck in it everytime and I have to help get him out. You would think he would learn.....Hopefully the novelty of it will wear off soon.

My little angel

I just love how she sleeps. She puts both arms above her head. She is such a sweetie.

4th Weekend

Raegan the rocker!
Look at those cheeks!

Happy 4th! We had a busy but fun weekend. I had to plan our ward's 4th of July breakfast. A little stressful, but it went smoothly. We had breakfast, a few musical numbers, a slideshow presentation honoring the veterans in our ward. Then we had a parade for the kids. Our Patriarch was the grand marshal on his Harley. (What is more American than a Harley, right Dad?) Raegan was so excited for the parade since it was her first. She had been asking all week who would be in the front, how fast would they go? Where would the big kids be? She had a lot of fun decorating her bike and Logan had a lot of fun tearing the decorations off. That is why there are no decorations on his bike.

Just a few funnies

Logan loves to sing and whenever he sings “I am a child of God” she sings it this way. “I am a child of God, and so my needs are grapes (great). It is really funny.
Logan has picked up on the word stupid. Obviously he doesn’t quite know what it means yet, but everytime he gets mad at someone he says, “Stupid mom, stupid Raegan, etc.” Well today his airplane was broken and I asked him who broke it. “Dad did it” I said dad was at work and did he do it? He said, “Stupid Logan”
Then later in the day it started to rain. We were getting out of the car and had to run in the house. Logan was yelling the whole time, “stupid rain”. It’s not funny, but in his voice it is so funny. I am sure you will all hear it sometime. Just make him mad and he will tell you how he feels.

These are mostly for grandmas who live far away. Don't ya just want to reach out and pinch her cheeks! You will be able to in a month!

Just some more pictures

We like to be twins around here

I am a big dinasour!

Poor little Logie

So we had an exciting weekend. We were at Target on Saturday and Jake was walking out side with Logan in the cart part of the shopping cart. Someone cut Jake off so he pulled the cart back so he wouldn't hit her. Well, that is when Logan decided to do a swan dive out of the cart and onto the pavement. He landed right on his head and then flipped over himself, trying to break his neck too. He was quite a mess, crying, bleeding, all that so the paramedics showed up in the firetruck which drew lots of attention to us. He cried more with them trying to look at him. He wasn't impressed with the firetruck that night. Needless to say, he is okay. He had a big ol' knot that is just starting to go down today. Poor kid, he has had more falls than is necessary. Luckily he just has a few scrapes to show for it.

The next day....

The tooth dilema

I know all these pictures look alike, but Brielle's expression is different on each one and I think she is just too cute not to show off. It was the first day I was able to dress them alike. Very fulfilling as a mom for some reason! I might just need to get out more.

So....we are back to dentist problems. A few weeks ago Raegan went to our dentist to have him fix her cavities. We had been preparing her for it. She sat fine through the laser part of cleaning out the cavity. The dentist then showed her the filling he was going to put in her mouth. It looked like a shot. She freaked out, started crying and wouldn't let him finish filling the cavity, something that would have only taken about 5 minutes. Needless to say, she wouldn't stop crying so the dentist said we would have to take her to a pediatric dentist to get it filled. He recommended on to us. We went to the pediatric dentist to get it filled but they didn't quite understand what was going on and didn't plan for her to get a cavity filled that day so we had to make another appointment in 2 weeks to go back. So now she just has to walk around with a big ol' hole in her 2 front teeth until it gets filled. I know I will be singing "All I want for Christmas is Raegan's two front teeth." Who knows if she will ever get it filled because I am sure she will freak out again. Very frustrating because the teeth will probably fall out in the next year or so, not to mention all the money we have to pay the new dentist. Kids, can't live with them, can't live without them.
