Raegan had her Kindergarten graduation assembly this week, and it was a lot of fun. She had two speaking parts (one more than any other gifted child), but the funniest part of the evening is that she would mouth every other kids' speaking parts while they recited theirs. About two-thirds of the way through the program we were able to mime that she should keep her mouth still so as not to distract attention from the other kids who were performing.
They sang some cute songs, we had a "picnic" afterward in the lunchroom, and spoke with Miss Browne (her teacher who Raegan will dearly miss this year). Raegan's friend Ryan and our family friend Mayra also came to the show. Again, a great night.
We just can't believe our Kindergartner is about to graduate...
