Brielle's Jolly Holiday

One of our favorite parenting moments ever! Brielle wore her Mary Poppins dress to Disney (thank you again Great Grandma Aplanalp) to say hi to the real Mary Poppins. The real Mary Poppins was surprised to see Brielle looking so dapper (you see every princess dress under the sun at Disney, but we've never seen a Mary Poppins dress - everyone asked where we got it), and Brielle was thrilled to get some alone time with her idol. Brielle kept saying, "look I have this and YOU have this!" pointing to various aspects of their outfits. I was amazed at the number of random people who stopped to take pictures, or who leaned over the rail of the ride waiting line where Mary Poppins was stationed to catch a glimpse of what was happening. Really was an unforgettable parenting moment for us, much like when Raegan first met Cinderella (her idol at the time) at the same age.

These two are the cutest. They just go nuts whenever they see each other~

Happy Halloweenie!!!!

Since Halloween fell on a Sunday this year, we celebrated on Saturday at our church party. We had a great time! Here are the crazies sitting on the curb taking stock of their loot! Raegan was cat in the hat, Brielle was Mary Poppins and Logan was iron man. Thanks great grandma Aplanalp for making that beautiful dress!!!

Animal Kingdom Fun

Crafty

So when I went to Utah for the summer, I caught the crafty bug. (I think most women in Utah have it). I just wanted to share some things I have done. I have found lots of great blogs where I have been getting lots of wonderful cheap ideas to decorate. I am not creative by nature so this is a good thing for me ;)
I write on this with a dry eraser marker and plan the week and our food.

Our kitchen ledge. My favorite thing since before there were pans and stuff up there. I made everything but the flower. Thanks to my cousin Megan who helped a lot with this!

Halloween Fun

We carved pumpkins for FHE tonight. Logan and Raegan had fun digging the guts out and Brielle just wanted to color her pumpkin and as usual she has no shirt or pants. We really are redneck out here!!!

Logan sitting on the grass watching his pumpkin in the dark.

We went to a pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins.

Primary parts

Our church program last week was the little kids doing the program. IT was so stinkin' cute! Raegan and Logan both did a great job. I had them come home and do it again for all of the grandmas and grandpas that missed it. Logan thanksfully wasn't as crazy as he was acting here.

Grandma visits

Grandma Jeppesen came out this week to visit and watch the kids sing at the Primary program in church. I need to get them to sing their songs and put them up here because it was so stinkin' cute!

Anyways, we were glad to have grandma here. It is like having a live in nanny/maid! I love it! Thanks grandma for visiting. This is on a hot air balloon at Disney. It was tethered at 400 feet. Very neat even though it's hard to see the surrounding area. If you notice, Brielle and Raegan have the same dress. Yes, I made them!!! With help from grandma I made my first dresses. I think I could do it again, but not sure I really want to ;) It was a good learning experience for me.

We went to Clearwater for the weekend. It was very relaxing and beautiful. This is on the pier looking out at the gulf. I love the gulf!!! The beaches, the water, it is wonderful!

Walking around the pier, I just had to snap a shot of this because it was so funny! She fits right in with all the teenagers around there.

Swimming in the pool at the hotel.

After 5 years of living in Orlando we finally went to Wet n' Wild. Jake's work sponsors a night every year but the kids have always been too little but this year we felt they would enjoy it and they did! We were there until 11pm, and they were still going strong! We had a great time on lots of slides and had a ton of fun as a family. It was nice that Brielle barely met the height requirement and could ride most everything, and even though she had a terrified look the entire time once a ride was done she would immediatly say, "I want to do that again!" She is FEARLESS!

This was a giant bubble you could climb to the top of and then bounce down. I have a great video of it but for some reason it won't load. Oh well.

Video of Logan showing he is absolutly in his own world, all the time. Jake and I were saying we don't know if he even knows there are other people around him. Other people have to wonder if he's all there when they walk by and he's doing stuff like this...
