Just some pictures of my kids. I have to look at these often to remind myself how cute they are. Logan has been acting like a two year old and Raegan acts like she is 16 so between the two, I am slowly going insane. I keep reminding myself it is a blessing to be a mother ;) They have been testing our patience of late, but they also can be so dang cute, you just don't know what to do. Hopefully the patience I have been praying for kicks in soon.
I got a new calling today. I am over our wards' activities. This will be very challenging for me so if any of you have any fun activities your ward has done, please let me know what you did and I can copy.
On a side note---Go cubbies! 1st place in the majors so far. We get to see them for my birthday (not sure how that worked out) but we are excited.

Disney

We decided to brave the hot weather on Monday and go to Disney one last time before the summer rush hits. We went to Animal Kingdom and had a great time. It was a rainy day so the weather was very cool. We got lucky. These are pictures from the "Bug's Life" 3-D movie. Very funny movie that Raegan and Logan just loved.
Jake and I also got to take turns and go on Everest again which is a great roller coaster ride.
Jake and Raegan got soaked on the river raft ride while the rest of us kept dry and ate treats.....we saw the Lion King show and I haven't seen Logan sit that still for a while. He was mesmerized with all the animals. Can't wait until summer is over and we can go back again. We stay away during the summer months, unless you all come out and visit and then we will go with you.

Raegan the photographer

Raegan loves to take pictures. She is actually getting pretty good. Here are a few.....

The new way to lose weight, add 30 lb Logan to your back and mow the lawn. He loves to do this whenever we mow the lawn. He gets a longer ride when Jakes mows ;) My mechanic husband

Swimming in the driveway

One night me and the kids were washing the car. At the end of the driveway a pool of water formed. Raegan and Logan think this is the greatest thing in the world. (Mind you we have a little pool in the backyard that is mud and rock free) Raegan went and got her rain coat and goloshes on and had a hay day in the 80 degree humid weather. Logan just liked to get dirty. A few pictures of their adventures.

We are blessed

Brielle wearing one of my dresses when I was a baby...

A few funny things that happened this week to make me realize how blessed we are. The first is that I was trying to get Logan to take his nap. He instantly gets tons of energy the minute he gets into bed. There is a space between his bed and the wall and he likes to play there. As I've done plenty of times before, I got him by the arm and starting pulling him out to get him settled down for his nap. Except this time I dislocated his elbow. This is something I have never experienced before and thought I had pulled his whole arm out of socket, shoulder and all. He was crying and wouldn't move his arm. I felt terrible. Our pediatrician easily put his elbow back in and taught Jake and I how to execute the procedure, forwarning us that this would happen several times over the lifespan of our children. Can't wait to try it out again. Needless to say, Logan has forgiven me and Raegan tells everyone that it was my fault. She also tells people that the doctor cut Logan's arm off and put it back together...

The other funny thing (not funny at the time) was that the alternator went out on my car while driving on a busy road. I was in the turn lane and my car just died. We had just been swimming at a friend's pool, so I was still in my swim suit because we were just going home. To make it even better, Jake was in DC for the day so I was really stuck. Plus, no one stopped to help me for quite some time (it felt like an eternity while the cars started lining up behind me) After one guy walked by me on the sidewalk without even helping, another one pulled over and pushed me into the gas station and tried to help with no luck. I called a friend who lived close by and has an 8 passanger van (she has 3 kids of her own) and she came and got me. Luckily we waited inside the gas station so no one died of heat stroke. The next day we towed the car home, Jake fixed it and we are back in business. The moral of the story is please always help the stranded swimsuit girl that has 3 onery kids in the back.....before she goes postal.

Our Sunday

Cutest kids at church!

Just a funny/sweet thing that happened with Logan. Him and I were in my room playing and I have a baby monitor in there to hear Brielle. She started crying and he kept looking at the monitor very confused as to why he could hear her through that. He kept saying "Brielle sad, get her." I said go get her. He walked to the monitor and kept touching it saying "Brielle". He then got very upset that he couldn't help her. He started to cry because he was so upset. I took him into her room so he could see where she was. He was happy after that. I was suprised he was so concerned about her.

One other thing I remembered that he said the other day. I said, "Logan, you are so cute!" and he replied "No, I am happy Logan." That is his new comeback to everything. I asked him the other day if he felt sick and it was "No, I am happy Logan." He is a dang cute kid! We have been trying to get him to sleep in Raegan's room on the bunk bed so Brielle can sleep in the crib (we need to plan kids better next time so we don't have to take one kid out of the crib and put another one in---not great on our part). Anyways, we decided to try this weekend since it was a long weekend. He thinks it is a fun game. We put them in bed around 8:45 and the next hour consisted of him singing every song he knows, Raegan singing with him and then bossing him the rest of the time. We kept hearing "Logan, get back in bed, Logan leave my stuff alone, Logan I am trying to go to sleep." I was cutting Jake's hair and Logan peeked his head out of the door with Raegan's sunglasses on upside down, a big grin and yelled "Mom, wook at me!" I couldn't get mad that he wasn't in bed because it was so funny. Hopefully the novelty of the new room will wear off and bedtime will take considerably less time with lots less bossiness going on.

Speaking of the monitor, my kids can't quite figure it out. When I am in with Brielle in her room, Raegan can hear me talking through the monitor in my room. One night I walked into my room and Raegan was singing into the monitor to Brielle even though Brielle couldn't hear her since it is just the listening monitor. It was really sweet and very funny. She doesn't understand that the one in my room is just for hearing what is going on in the other room. She still sings into it every time she hears Brielle cry.

Tonight Jake, Raegan and Logan are sleeping out in the tent. Good luck Jake!
Love these little feet

Jake's day off

Look at those tired eyes (on mom)
Yesterday we went to the Indiana Jones movie. It was just like the others. I was bored at times and didn't love the story line. Oh well, Jake is a Indie fan and he enjoyed it. We took Brielle and I thought she would sleep the whole time but every loud noise she would jump. Poor thing! But she slept good last night and is still sleeping which is why I can do this right now.

Twins

Raegan's fish

Raegan got her first pet this week. A year or so ago she had to go to the dentist for a cavity. It was a pediatric dentist so we thought he knew what he was doing. They gave her some drugs to knock her out. Then they strapped her head and arms to a board. She wasn't quite out when they did that so she screamed the whole time (45 minutes) and was terrified. Ever since she has been scared to go to the dentist (who could blame her). We got a new dentist and have been trying to get her to go. She finally agreed to go if she could get a fish. (She really wanted a small hamster that looked like a rat, but I ended that wish very soon) We agreed to the fish. She went to the dentist with us and watched me get my teeth cleaned. Then she got in the chair and did a great job. She liked it so much she even wants to go back. She will have to in order the fix the cavity the other dentist wasn't able to do because of all the screaming. Now she has a fish that is a girl and gets a name change every day. I can't even remember what it was called today. Thank goodness for bribes.

Little Brielle was sick

This was a little bit of a crazy week. Brielle had a really high fever of 103. We went to the pediatrician and he couldn't figure out what was wrong so he sent us to the emergency room. They had to do a septic workup which is taking blood, urine and doing a spinal tap. This is the second time this little one has had to do this. She also had a high fever when she was 12 days old and had the same thing done. She had mastitis that time. We had to stay in the hospital for 2-3 days with that one. This time they think it is a urinary tract infection, even though no culture grew on her urine. The doctors put her on antibiotics and sent us home. She is doing well and we are very thankful for the priesthood blessing she received and also for modern medicine.

More cuties

Fun times in Florida

Princess

Today Raegan, Sarah and I went to Sleeping Beauty Ballet. It was Raegan's first ballet and she really enjoyed it. She was very interested in the shoes the ballerinas wore.

What a sweetie

Getting going

Well, after 3 months, maybe I can keep updated on this and figure it out. I am going to attach some pictures I like from the last few months.
