We did Christmas a little early this year and the kids had a lot of fun. It was the first time we had our own little christmas as a family. We enjoyed ourselves. The kids got way too much but it was fun. Here are a few videos of the morning. Grandma's will hopefully appreciate this.

Fun few weeks

Just a few pictures of the last few weeks. We have been busy with parties, me finishing grading finals, being in charge of the ward christmas party and then packing.....Merry Christmas!

Brielle and Mickey

Isn't she cute!

One of the stakes does a Festival of the Nativities where people display hundreds of nativities. It was beautiful. They also had kids activities and dress up. This is our version of the nativity.

Banquet

Jake has been at a conference all week and at the end they always have a really big nice fancy dinner. Everyone dresses to the nines. Many are in their uniforms. It is really neat because many people from other countries come to this conference and they wear the uniform from their country. Fun to see. It was at a very nice hotel, good food, and entertainment. I was just happy to get out of the house with make-up and shower and not have to eat my dinner in 10 seconds so I can help the kids eat.
This is us before we left. Sad that you can't see our little Christmas tree behind us, either we are fat or we have a small tree ;)

Pictures from our Thankgiving vacation

Catching shark teeth at Venice beach
Pretty sunset at Siesta Key

We wore him right out on the boat ride

Alligator on the side at the Everglades

Our Thankgiving dinner at Cracker Barrel (actually very good since it was the only place we could find open)

Venice beach

Making our sand turtles

Cute Brielle

Video from Thanksgiving

These are videos from Thankgiving down at the everglades. They are of us by alligators at the glades, looking for shark teeth in Venice, and on a boat in the Everglades with dolphins. The alligators are in the 'wild' but I think they are used to people so they just lay there. Still scary for me, but the kids thought it was great.....

Cute hair

I just have you show how cute Raegan' s hair is today. Of course, it is cuter in person, but hope you will get the idea. There is a blog where I have been finding different cute hairstyles http://shedoeshair.blogspot.com/ which links to about 10 other great hair blogs. They are easy to do and fun. Raegan likes having fun hair so she sits and lets me do it. I also let her watch TV then so that is helpful. Anyways, just thought I'd share for those of you with little girls!

Just more pictures of those cute little stinkers

Cuz I'm a super model

Is there anything cuter?

I am big and strong and can go fast!

Late for church as usual

Wow---a big buzz!

Tinkerbell's friend
Just one funny today. As we were driving to church Raegan was talking about George Washingtor (not a spell error). I guess they have been talking about him in school and she thinks he is a prophet. Well, I was trying to explain the difference between president of US and prophet. I told her George was dead and in heaven. She said well, he'll be alive again when Jesus comes right. I said yes, everyone will be resurrected when Jesus comes. She then asked, well, will all the people just fall out of heaven? I had to laugh. I said, I am actually not sure how it will happen. Funny how her brain works. I enjoy listening to her reasoning.
Logan loves the song "Life is a highway" from the movie Cars. We have it on CD and he calls it the Mac song (It happens when Mac is driving across the country) Today as the Sacrament in church was being passed, he kept singing loudly, "I want to ride it all night long" Although you probably couldn't make it out exactly. I swear, that kid doesn't know what whisper means! I apologize to everyone in the back!

Fun times

Today the kids helped me make 'turkeys' out of oreos, candy corns and whoppers to take to those I visit teach. Logan just kept eating everything, Raegan got frustrated because her cookie broke, but in the end we had a great time because they still taste good even if they are broken.
Who is the real Mr. Incredible?

So cute!

Ryan and Raegan dancing. These two have known each other for a few years and are like an old married couple already. They love each other one minute and then fight like cats and dogs the next. They have a lot of fun together. Raegan always says she will marry Ryan. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Final night launch

Waiting at the ice cream shop to watch the launch with friends

Tonight the space shuttle had a night launch. I tried to capture it as best I could from our house (actually, a store next to our house) It is an amazing sight in person, hope you can appreciate it from my little camera. We were only about 30 miles away!

My little boy?

Logan has been very crazy lately. He discovered Raegan's barbie and he now is in love with it. He flies it everywhere. It has to come to the store with us, it can't stay in the car. He loves it so much that he wouldn't put it down to carry chips and he LOVES chips. The funniest part is that he likes to undress Barbie. He does it in secret though. I find him under the bed, in the closet or behind the couch undressing her. He then points out that Barbie has 'bow-bows'. I am assuming he is just practicing to be an OBGYN ;) Anyways, we got a cowboy outfit the other day because I thought he would want to dress up to be 'Woody' from Toy Story. I said, "Let's put on the Woody clothes." He said, "No, I hate Woody." So Raegan said, "I'll put it on and be Jesse" (The girl from Toy Story) Logan then said, "No, I want to be Jesse!" I am not sure if he wanted to be Jesse because Raegan was or because Jesse is a girl. Ever since then, it has been the 'Jesse' outfit. Oh well, it was still pretty cute to see him yehaw on the horse, even if he is acting to be a girl. I can't wait until he is 'Jesse' playing with Barbie.

One funny thing from Raegan. In Sacrament last Sunday she asked why we had the bread before the water. I said it was because the bread represented Jesus' body (I don't know why the bread comes first) She thought for a minute and then asked, "So our bodies are made of bread?" I thought it was very cute. I said yes, that is correct and for lunch we will make a ham sandwich out of your hands ;)

Fun weekend

The weather here has been wonderful the past few days. 80's with no humidity. Perfect! We took advantage of it and went to Disney and the beach. It was Brielle's first experience with sand and the water. She was mesmerized with the waves. She kept sticking her arms and feet straight out and would yell. Once she was done with that she discovered sand and then she was in heaven. She kept taking handfuls, looking at it, putting it down and then repeating this. She tasted a few handfuls and decided it wasn't for eating, just playing. (Can't wait for those diapers) It was great day!

Buzz Lightyear on the roof.....Logan was so excited
!

Thanks Grandma A for the light sticks!

Dancing with the stars anyone?

I stole this from Kim Middleton's blog. Very funny!!!!

Adorable

Brielle was soo cute this morning. She was just happy to be here. She is always sticking her tongue out and playing with it. Very cute. I know a lot of these pictures look the same to you, but to me they are all a little different and I know grandma's will be happy at the differences. The rest of you, sorry you have to endure them all ;)

Disney Addiction

Disney has completely hypnotised Logan with being infatuated with Lightening McQueen and Buzz Lightyear. They have marketed so well that Logan can't get enough. It isn't even that we watch the movies, it's the books on tape that we listen to in the car, it's all the little play toys, it's the fun rides at Disney. We are definitely stalkers of the two. Too make matters worse, now that Christmas is here, I could buy him every imaginable item from toothbrushes to buzz cars.....Disney definitely knows how to market to little kids (and their moms)!!!
